Jazzy vibes

One Liner: Vibe out with your fiends

Jackbox style game, a central screen that everyone can see and each player uses their cell phone as their input device.

In this game each player is randomly and blindly given a different instrument that is automatically playing at the same time. All the instruments are playing off key and out of tempo with each other. It sounds terrible.

Users use their cell phone as the input device, and move their finger around the screen. For one player moving their finger up the screen increases the tempo of their instrument, while on another player screen moving their finger up increases the key. All players have different controls for the four directions. The axis of the players cell phones are not labeled.

The goal is to synchronize the music with everyone else by finding a common tempo and key.

The first thing players may do is try to find the instrument that they are connected to. They may do this by listening to the noise then going to an extreme of one direction or another to try and pick out their instrument from the noise. Then they try to find what each of the directions controls on their instrument. Then they try to "vibe-out" to find a common key and tempo that everyone agrees on without talking to each other.

Finding the 2x of the tempo for the drums might work with the other instruments, or the singer might be one key higher, etc… whatever as long as the people agree on it.

The screen shows the circle frequency map for all the instruments at once. It will be messy and angry when they are out of synchronization with each other. Then become an order frequency map once its done.
